A WARMER TIME OF YEAR

It has been a long time since I have added a blog but that will not continue. First of all we are winding down our school year and looking forward to the next few warmer months. Spring means the return of the ruby throated hummingbirds, bringing our alligators outdoors to their pond and facilities and one of the greatest things seeing the snakes coming out of hibernation. Yesterday I spotted my first snake of the year a beautiful blue racer. It was this time five years ago that my friend Glenn Baker took me to Texas to adopt our baby olive baboon, Elizabeth. Well this winter we lost Glenn and we miss him very much. He believed in our work and I am going to approach this life with an all new passion so that he will be proud of his friends Cheryl and Larry Battson
